How much State Pension will I get?

You can obtain a forecast of your State Pension from The Pension Service, which is part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). Please use 'Useful Links' for their contact details.

When is my annual benefit statement due?

Benefit statements are produced annually for active members. If you are an active member you can expect to receive your statement around August each year.

How much do I pay?

Active members of the Scheme currently pay 6% of Pensionable Salary on earnings up to £40,040 and then 9% above this amount. Please see the Scheme Booklet for further details.

When is my pension paid?

Your pension payment will be credited to your bank account on the last working day of each month.

My tax code is incorrect.

My personal details are incorrect.

For your security, changes to your personal details can only be accepted upon receipt of written confirmation from you. Please ensure that you quote your member number or national insurance number to enable us to locate your pension record.

I am in receipt of a Thales pension and have changed my bank account details.

For your security, changes to your bank account details can only be accepted upon receipt of written confirmation from you. Please ensure that you quote your member number or national insurance number to enable us to locate your pension record. Please note that changes to your bank account must be received by the 7th of the month to enable us to amend our records in time for payment on the last working day of that month. Instructions received after this date will take effect from the last working day of the following month.
