The Trustee has now completed the buy-out process and from the 10 July 2025 responsibility for pensions has been transferred to Rothesay and for deferred members with DC/AVC benefits these have been transferred to Smart Pensions. Additional payments due to former Scheme members
As part of an exercise to secure the Scheme’s liabilities with an insurer, the Trustee of the Thales UK Pension Scheme received legal clarifications with respect to the benefits which members are entitled to receive under the Trust Deed and Rules which govern the Scheme. This has led to a number of data corrections being made by the Trustee to some former members’ benefits in relation to these benefit clarifications as well as equalisation of Guaranteed Minimum Pension (GMP). The Trustee has engaged the services of Aptia UK Limited to communicate with any former Scheme members where these corrections result in an uplift to their benefits. If you receive a letter from Aptia UK Limited, please respond promptly so that your benefit uplift can be paid out.
The Trustee of the Thales UK Pension Scheme has engaged the services of Target Professional Services (UK) Limited to assist in ensuring they have current addresses or where required to trace a new address. This is only relevant to a subset of the overall Scheme membership where the Trustee has requirement to make contact.
Should you receive a letter from Target Professional Services ( UK) Limited please respond in a timely manner so that the Trustee may make early contact with you.
Please be assured that Target only have access to the necessary information required to carry out the tracing and verification agreed with the Trustee. Your data remains secure.
